Yesterday morning the Burlington Police closed Rt 127 and escorted our family to the site of the accident where we placed this cross in memory of Taylor. Thank you for all your kind words, love and support. We love you all.

CORRECTION:

Several Dispatches articles have reported Taylor S. McLaughlin as a sophomore and member of the class of 2012. While Mr. McLaughlin did enroll at the college in the fall of 2008, but left the college only a few weeks into the first semester. He enrolled for a second time in the fall of 2009, and had completed his first full semester only weeks before his death. This article has been updated to reflect the college’s official classification of Mr. McLaughlin as a member of the class of 2013.Dispatches regrets the error.
