ALUMNI HALL — Custodial and dining services will be kept in-house, college president Fr. Jonathan DeFelice announced on Wednesday.

After several months of review and investigation by committees and college vice presidents, the board of trustees on Friday approved the in-house proposals of both current operations over proposals submitted by potential outside vendors.

In his statement, Fr. Jonathan cited the implications of retaining these services.

“The reorganization of these departments will require some reduction in staffing as well as more efficient processes,” he said. “The senior leadership team will continue to examine the staffing needs of the college in other areas with a view to ensuring the efficient management of the college. ”
